CAC Library News

Circulation System

Be sure to look at our library catalog. You are able to access the program on the Internet from home and browse through our collection to see what is available. It has a new option that can be quite helpful when doing research. In the catalog, if you type in the topic and press the "subject" button it will bring up the books we have in our library as well as something called Webpath Express. Webpath lists websites that have been screened and are appropriate for kids. Each one has the recommended age level on it to help select what would be most beneficial. To get to the catalog click on the blue book above or click here.

If a student reads at least two books and passes Accelerated Reader tests on them, they may vote for the winner in the spring. The William Allen White Award is one of the few awards given to authors by kids -- not adults.
Recommended Web Sites

These sites have been compiled as suggested resources for students and their families. We can not guarantee that the information they contain is accurate or that the links are up-to-date. At the time the list was compiled these sites were found to be of a good quality. The internet is a wonderful resource, due to its ability to change, but that also makes it unpredictable. If you are concerned about students using these sites, you should monitor the content.
