The Carbondale Attendance Center / Santa Fe Trail Junior High School Site Council serves as an advisory committee for the school, and consists of parents, staff, and community members. Topics of focus include district pride, school-community relationships, academic growth, school activities, and school improvements.

The Site Council Chairperson will be elected at the September meeting each year, with a term of one year. Site council members are Brenda Dahl, Michele Ferris, Michael Flax, Kristi Hamit, Shellie Hinck, Ed Hug, Pat Lira, Dawn Sitz, Mike Stout, Chris Tinch, Lisa Turner, and Linda Vandevord. The Council meets in the school conference room on Wednesday evenings, beginning at 6:00. The dates of the meetings can be found on the district calendar.
