Volunteer Services at Stormont-Vail The Volunteer Services department at Stormont-Vail Health Care is currently taking names of students ages 13-18, interested in volunteering at the health center during the school year. Applicants are interviewed and placed on a first come first served basis. Students interested in the program may inquire in Student Services.

YEARBOOKS If you had not ordered a 2010 yearbook and still want one, there are still some available. See Mrs. Scott, room 110. The books are $55 and will be sold first come, first served basis. Also orders for the 2011 yearbooks can be made with Mrs. Scott. Those books are $50 if purchased before Christmas break. After break, the price increases to $55. Mrs. Scott will be here in the afternoon. Lunch, seminar, or after school is when to find her in room 110.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Diane Denham a certified resistance free horse trainer and instructor at Blue Star Ranch in the Carbondale area currently has an opening for a part-time volunteer to assist with lessons, camps, birthday parties, and scout badges along with helping care for the horses. She is looking for a dependable, hardworking, non-smoking teenage girl who loves horses with a desire to learn and is available one or more evenings a week and an occasional * day on Saturday. Lunch Money Please do not give lunch money to Debby while she is doing lunch, bring it to the office in the morning. Adults can prepay.

District Activity Form All fulltime student athletes need to turn in the district activity form to the office, prior to first competition.

ACT REGISTRATION ACT REGISTRATION: If you are planning to take the October ACT Test at SFT, you must register by September 17 to pay the regular $33.00 fee. If you miss this date, the late fee is $44 until October 1; then the fee goes up to $74 for a walk-on registration. Online registration information is available outside student services.

FBLA There will be a meeting for all students interested in joining FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) TODAY during Activity Period in the commons area. Please bring a writing utensil and join the SFT-FBLA officer team as we 'Break some Barriers' this year in leadership!!
