Any elective P.E. class can be taken two semesters in a row .
Only one P.E. can can be taken per semester, except with permission from the principal.
A $5.00 Enrollment Fee for towels will be assessed for all P.E. students.
BASIC P. E.
Prerequisites: Freshmen, Sophomores (who have never taken a P.E.)
Supplies: T-shirts, shorts (no cutoffs); socks; tennis shoes; sweats
The focus in this class is on participation and a cooperative attitude toward the physical activities in the class. Competition will not be emphasized. Students will be introduced to a variety of interactive non-competitive games. Rules, skills and sportsmanship will be emphasized for each activity.
ADVANCED P.E. (Semester or Year) May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites: Basic P.E.
Supplies: T-shirts; shorts (no cutoffs); socks; tennis shoes; sweats
Other expenses: Field trip expenses--$10 for bowling and golf
This course is a combination of instruction and experience in team sports as well as lifetime sports. Some of the various activities include basketball, volleyball, weight lifting, softball, soccer, hockey, badminton, ping-pong and pickle ball. This class will be introducing students to skills, strategies and the rules of each activity.
WEIGHTS (Semester or Year) May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisites: Basic P.E.

This course will consist of instruction in weight lifting. This class is for students who want to improve their overall strength, quickness, flexibility and physical fitness. Programs will be set up with the advice from the instructor and each program will be monitored by the instructor and the student.
TEAM SPORTS (Semester or Year) May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite: Basic P.E.
Supplies: Shorts, (no cutoffs), socks; tennis shoes; sweats
Students will be required to be active in each activity. Rules, terminology, skills, technique and coaching strategies of each activity will be addressed. This would be a good class for students who are thinking about coaching as a career. Some officiating basics will also be covered.
