Tech Tip: Always back up your computer files that are important to you. Never open attachments from individuals you do not know or if the attachment is a .bat, .exe., or .zip file.
Tech Tip: When naming a file on the PC try to avoid using any punctuation. Remember spaces are allowed and the name can be up to 255 characters. If punctuation must be used, try the underscore.

Once you download and install this program from Cnet, there is a short video at the bottom of the page that explains basic functionality. This program is really simple and works well. I am always afraid that when I come across something great to show my kids on YouTube it may not be there 6 months from now, so if I download it I always have it.
If however you are not worried about it being gone and you just want to provide access for students, MBC has a great feature which will let you attach YouTube videos to assignments so that kids can watch just the video stripped of comments and other advertising.
