The  SFT Thunder Taker came to be in 2003. He was initially created by then student Max Connely and further developed by teacher Mrs. Jennifer Towle.  It was then enhanced by Blue Chip Wrestling Company and became a SFT Wrestling Symbol.  Principal Pat Graham later took the idea to the School Board, who then approved it as our official mascot and ordered the "head" for the character.   Santa Fe Trail High School Students voted upon his name, choosing from Bolt Man, Charger Man, and Thunder Taker.  The Thunder Taker name won the vote and now he appears at most high school varsity football and basketball games. He has also appeared at state championship events where our SFT Chargers have competed.  He just recently appeared at Carbondale Attendence Center where he participated in a "Heroism" skit for the student body, put on by the Student Council.  Be looking for him at all our high school home events.
