Winter Literacy Challenge
Winter Literacy Challenge - (Download a PDF of this form)
Students have an opportunity to complete a literacy challenge this month. This is not a required assignment, merely a choice whether a student wants to participate. Students that complete at least 8 of the 10 challenges and turn this completed paper into Mrs. Hawks no later than Friday February 28th, will earn a piece of candy. These students will also get their name turned into a drawing for a free book. These challenges are meant to be completed at home, not at school. Parents/guardians are welcome to help their students with the challenges. Parents/guardians need to sign their initials next to each challenge where it says “PI”. Shared reading is a fantastic way to spend time together. If students are struggling to find a particular book or article, I am happy to help them with that!
