Parents and Staff,
For clarification on my previous email, quarantining your student is voluntary unless you have been asked specifically by the County Health Department or a Building Principal.
We ask that you observe your child, if they should develop a fever and any other symptom, please have them tested for the COVID -19 virus.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Dear Overbrook Parents and Staff,
This morning my office was notified of 8 staff and 18 students from Overbrook Attendance Center (OAC) with positive COVID-19 and/or exposure requiring quarantine. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover for all of the staff who are absent. It has been decided to move from our current in-person instructional model to remote learning for the students and staff at Overbrook Attendance Center. We will begin the remote model immediately January 12, 2021. The plan is to return to in person learning on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Meals will be distributed daily from the East doors of the Overbrook Attendance Center, please provide proof of ID.
Please know that we are taking this action in the interest of everyone’s health and safety. We ask that you quarantine your child and be aware of the symptoms of COVID-19. The symptoms are similar to the regular seasonal influenza and include fever, coughing and shortness of breath. Some have reported additional symptoms, such as a runny nose, sore throat, nausea, lethargy, lack of appetite, vomiting and diarrhea. Individuals who need medical care should call their medical provider to report their symptoms.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Vici Jennings or myself.
