The Santa Fe Trail school district is dedicated to ensuring the use of technology as an essential part of district curriculum and instruction. As one of the first schools in Kansas to be completely “wired”, our commitment to enhance technologies continues. The integration of technology curriculum and instruction begins as early as kindergarten. Students learn information technology literacy, micro computing skills and the fundamentals of business applications. The district is comprised of ten computer labs, three library labs, three portable labs, K-8 classrooms with 2-6 computers and building-wide wireless access. Teachers are issued laptops, LCD projectors, classroom interactive tools, access to webmail, web access to grading program and business applications as needed.
