Enrollment Steps
Step 1
The very first step to joining our preschool family is a quick and friendly Early Childhood Screening. We host these free developmental screenings throughout the school year to see how your child is growing.
What do we look at?
We take a peek at all the ways your child is developing, including:
- Early concepts (learning and thinking skills)
- Speech and language (how they communicate)
- Motor skills (moving and playing)
- Social & self-help skills (playing with others and independence)
- Hearing and vision
If our team notices any areas where your child might need a little extra boost or specialized support, we will guide you through the next steps for a special education evaluation and early intervention.

Step 2
ALL NEW or RETURNING PK students are REQUIRED to complete the Preschool Request for Attendance Form annually.

** For new students, filling out this form expresses interest in having your child attend but does not guarantee enrollment. **
Step 3
Wait for official notification from Three Lakes or the school district.
Step 4
IF/WHEN you get the APPROVAL confirmation what you do next depends if your child attended USD434 Scools last year of if they are new to the district.
- Returning: skip to Step 6.
- New: Submit a new student application (button below).
Step 5
Your application(s) will be reviewed by district staff and once complete you will recieve an email with your next steps. Keep in mind this won’t be immediate but this email will provide you instructions with how to setup your parent PowerSchool account.
Parent Account Setup Instructions
Step 6
Once your Parent PowerSchool account has been setup you will need to complete the enrollment forms found in your account. This can be done from within the PowerSchool mobile App but works better from the Web interface.
