ACT Test Dates

Santa Fe Trail PreK and Kindergarten students are invited to complete the Ages & Stages Questionnaires (ASQ). These simple, research-based screeners help identify your child’s developmental strengths as well as any areas where additional support may be helpful.

The questionnaires are quick to complete, and all responses are kept confidential. Your input helps us better support your child's growth and success in the classroom.

Tips for Completing the Screeners

  • Turn activities into a fun game for you and your child.
  • Choose a time when your child is well-rested and has eaten.
  • Try each activity before selecting your response.
  • Answer based on your child’s typical behavior—not how they act when tired, sick, or hungry.

  • ASQ-3 (Developmental) Information for Families

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is an assessment that helps students explore career interests and strengths. While it is used by the military, it is also a valuable career exploration tool for any student, providing insight into a wide range of potential career paths.

FastBridge is a research-based assessment system used by Santa Fe Trail Schools to support student learning from age 4 through high school. It provides quick, reliable measures of academic skills in areas such as reading and math, helping educators identify student strengths and areas where additional support may be needed.

Students participate in FastBridge benchmark assessments three times each school year—fall, winter, and spring. These benchmarks allow teachers to monitor progress over time and make informed instructional decisions to best meet each student’s needs.

The results from FastBridge help guide classroom instruction, intervention supports, and enrichment opportunities so that all students can grow and succeed.

The Kansas Assessment Program (KAP) includes a variety of assessments and other tools aligned to the Kansas statewide curriculum standards. Our balanced assessment system is designed to support educators and policymakers, evaluate student learning, and meet the requirements for federal and state accountability.
