Kansas Youth Art Month Exhibit February 27-March 23, 2024

Every year March is set aside nationally to celebrate Youth Art. The Kansas Art Education Association coordinates a celebration at the state level, which features an art exhibit and a reception for student artists, parents, and teachers. KAEA also partners with BLICK Art in sponsoring an art competition during Youth Art Month. Entries will be on display at the YAM Exhibit and Award recipients will receive recognition at the YAM Celebration on Saturday March 25th from 1:00-2:30pm during the YAM Celebration/Reception.
Great prizes for Elementary, Middle Level & High School (1st, 2nd, 3rd & 3 Honorable mentions) and don’t forget that the “Best of Show” receives a $1000+ prize package!!!
The “People’s Choice” competition runs from February 27th to March 18th. Encourage your students and their friends and families to come and see the exhibit and vote for their “favorite” piece!!
